We’ve been spending more & more time outside the city! I’ve really grown to love upstate New York, particularly the Hudson Valley. Our time there has been such a breath of fresh air compared to the muggy, concrete jungle. From the quaint farm-to-table restaurants to the beautiful, lush scenery, we keep finding excuses to take road trips! We’ve visited so many charming towns- Hillsdale, Chatham, Hudson, Catskills, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Kinderhook, Kingston & more.
The Hudson Valley is a rather large region in New York State that stretches along the Hudson River from Westchester to Albany; it’s filled with farms, vineyards, orchards, cute shops & eateries. The countryside is just a quick 1-2 hour drive from Manhattan, it just depends on which part you’re heading to. You can reach a lot of towns by taking the Amtrak from the city too!
Below are some of my favorite things we did & ate from our latest visits.
